My potager garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö, Resarö is situated in the inner part of the archipelago outside of Stockholm. Tyra´s Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination.
Tyra's Garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö situated in the inner part of the archipelago near the small town Vaxholm, outside Stockholm. Lucia Celebration in Sweden

13th of December - It is now on this day we celebrate LUCIA. Saint Lucy's Day


Lucia Celebration in Hållnäs Church in the northern part of Uppland, Sweden



A traditional kind of bun is normally eaten on this day, Lussekatt or Lussebulle translated to english "St. Lucia Bun". It is made with saffron.



Although St. Lucia's Day is not an official holiday in Sweden, it is a popular occasion among all ages here in Sweden. Early in the morning we watch the Lucia on the television or "live" at home.
