My potager garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö, Resarö is situated in the inner part of the archipelago outside of Stockholm. Tyra´s Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination.

Hip, hip, hurra! Linnaeus

Vår store botaniker Carl von Linné skulle fyllt 300 år i dag.

Happy Birthday to Linnaeus!

Just 1,54 cm tall but still huge. One of the worlds greatest scientist. Born in 1707 in Råshult as son of a priest. He grew up in Stenbrohult, moved to Uppsala where he married Sara and got a lot of children. 5 of them reached adulthood. Carl von Linné was born Carolus Linnaeus and was raised to nobility in 1757.

Haha 300 år det är inte illa, tänk vad han hade fått uppleva under sin 300-åriga livstid.

Mums, vad det skulle sitta fint med solvarma hallon nu.
