You have to really take notice of all the beautiful thing that's surrounds us, pleasure and treasure it, especially in these harsh economic times. It's easy to get depressed but I say like The Monty Pythons once said

Don' forget that you can pick the Rose hips, they are free. It's a power food, particularly high in Vitamin C, with about 1700–2000 mg per 100 g in the dried product.

Tyra, lovely post. Your Forsythia has lovely autumn colour, I haven't seen one that good. I have a Forsythia that I inherited which gets a lovely dark burgundy autumn leaves.
One way to be optimistic, at the moment, is to plant spring bulbs!

Hi Tyra, there is a magical quality to your garden, it is sublime! Your attitude is what we all need to concentrate on right now, there is so much beauty in our surroundings, we must draw from that to refresh our souls. And Sylvia's excellent suggestion of planting spring bulbs plays that song as well.

Just det, det finns mycket att vara glad åt. Forsythian har fått häftig höstfärg.
