It's Blooming Friday!

Analyse this!

Yesterday we all had a challenge given to us by Shirl

Which three plants whould you bring ....?

It certainly was a challenge and great fun.

Our dear friend Frances (Faire Garden) wrote in a comment like this -’Hi Tyra, how fun this is! Your choices reflect a love of beauty and your sensual nature. Hmm, can we do some psycho analysis from people's choices? No, better not go there. LOL Someone else chose the morning glories, that is such a good one for that blue color and generous number of blooms, I had to have a rose also, thanks for telling us about that one. It may have to come live in my REAL garden! Dahlias, so grand, and like Jodi says, we wouldn't have to bother with digging them. A dream come true. Frances’

Well could 'we' analyse this?

It is thrilling thought, an interesting idea isn’t it?....... Or perhaps not.

I have borrowed some pictures from you* and made a small collage over what the garden bloggers would like to bring along to the Desert Island. Unfortunately I couldn’t steal Yolanda’s hunk, sorry I ment garbage man, James something, was it Bond? But we all remember him. :-)

One pic is wrong, do you know which one?
...
One of the pictures is wrong, it pictures a plants that the owner of the photo would not bring along to the desert island. Do you know which one? And to whom it belongs?
...
Is it Gail's Clay and Limestone picture?
or Tina's In the Garden,
?
See the rest of the participants here at Shirl's Garden Watch.

Have a great day my friend, it's blooming friday!

More Blooming Friday's here at Katarinas Roses and stuff. White delights

*participants, just for the collage, I hope you don't mind, if so please let me know.

I know who...but the mystery is more intriguing, so I wont tell. It's like a scavenger hunt!

This was a delightfully fun challenge!

TYra,

If we were on skype you could see me jumping up and down and hear me saying "Call on me! Call on me! I know the answer!" It has been a fun day and you've extended it beautifully! Have a good weekend. gail

It's the blue poppy, but dang it I looked at too many and now can't remember how had the blue poppy, though it really made me want one in my garden.

Heh. I know the answer too, but I'm not saying. :-)

Trevlig helg.

We certainly can not guess which one is wrong, but they are all beautiful plants and beautifully photographed. Thanks for coming by our blog. My husband just put a new blog up, with all his jumbo mumbo of his photo techniques. Could you tell us what are the two flowers. The purple ones are only 5mm in radius.

HA Tyra, thanks for the link love. This may be the first time a comment of mine was featured in a post! double HA. You are a clever girl, and I think I know which photo doesn't belong, for I have it sitting in front of me? :-) The urge to analyze the choices, or more truthfully, WHY the choices was great, but it was so fun to see them all. Thanks again to Shirl for this idea!

That is beautiful, Tyra - and a wonderful idea.
Just like Gunilla, I love the collage, but don't know what tool/software to use. Which one do you use?
I took the challenge at Shirl's because of your blog. Thanks

I'm not sure I'd want anyone to analyze my choices! lol Wonder what that would say??!! Interesting thought tho. You are the queen of collages! This one is beautiful. I don't know which is wrong ~ I'm still making my rounds reading everyones three. I'll have to check back when I'm finished. Have a great weekend Tyra!

Hi, Tyra! What a clever idea and how handy! I don't know which one does "not belong" but I'm seeing that hibiscus as definitely belonging near a beach! Must be all that time I spent in Mexico and Puerto Rico!

Katarina och Moa tack för era kommentarer, jag gillar verkligen det här med blommig fredag. En bra positiv start på helgen liksom.

Bra ide Katarina!

Tyra, I love your collage. It seems that great gardeners are also great photographers. Those pictures would look wonderful on a garden calender.

Vilket underbart collage, jag väljer luktärter, har inte alltid tålamod med dem. Ha en bra dag, kram.

TYRA Hallsénius Lindhe said...

Answere to the question.

It is the blue Poppy and then you understand of course it is Jodi's (Bloomingwriter) flower.

xoxo Tyra

Thank you for all the lovely comments!

Hi Tyra.
Followed you here from Blotanist. Enjoyed the collage from the desert island string I've been reading this week on the blogs. Too busy to get involved in this one but will keep an eye out for the next challenge. Well-developed blog you have here. Fun reading and great photos. Congratulations!

Tyra - Although I read this post a few days ago, I didnt have time to leave a comment, so I am back.

What a beautiful collage, I was so thrilled to see that you used one of my images in it, and thanks for the link love.

It was so nice to see our desert island plants all-together like that, including Jodi blue poppies that she is leaving behind.
What a lovely idea you had for a post, lots of fun
