My potager garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö, Resarö is situated in the inner part of the archipelago outside of Stockholm. Tyra´s Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination.

'Bowles Black'


We celebrate Mother's Day here in Sweden today and what could be better for this occation than violets.

This delightful little gem is called 'Bowles Black' isn't just wonderful. Heavenly dark blue like a night sky and almost velvetly smooth petals. I bet they will looks stunning as a cake decoration or floating in one cool summer drink. Last year I scattered out some seeds and violá...here they are in my potager.
