Tyra's Garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö situated in the inner part of the archipelago near the small town Vaxholm, outside Stockholm. Tyra's Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, my potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination. The climate in these parts is quite demanding as the northerly winds can be strong and cold. THIS BLOG 'Tyra's Garden' is not entirely a gardenblog it contains much more. 13 December LUCIA

My niece Emma in the Church of Vaxholm - Min 'lilla' brordotter Emma som Lucia i Vaxholm kyrka

Lucia brings light to Sweden Read about the history of Saint Lucia from Sicily!

Hope you had a lovely ST Lucia day Tyra. Your niece Emaa looks very pretty wearing the crown of light. Are those real candles?

OT I noticed the copyright badge on your blog and was wondering if you are aware that many of your blog posts are on a site called the GrowSpot? Your blog post are there with your pics, the complete texts and everything. Visit the Transplantable Rose blog from Annie in Austin for more information.

Hi Tyra,

Just go to the GrowSpot website and scroll down until you see some numbers at the bottem of the page. Click on number 1 and then click on Gardening Around the Web. You will find many of your posts there with your pictures too. Good luck!

BTW That woman has stolen my content too but has removed most of it but not all so I've complained again.

I completely understand you're being furious, I was too!

Hello all and thank you for your kind comments.
Yolanda, they (GrowSpot) have taken it away now and that was good, before I got really really angry!
