TODAY I'M FILTHY RICH...

NOT!
Gold, gold, everywhere and I got it for free! When I was a small girl we call the leaves golden coins. Sometimes I still think of them as gold coins consequently you can imagine that at this time of the year I'm really filthy rich :-)

Today was the day of the colour Ochre in my garden. Ochre or Ocher (pronounced /'əʊ.kə(r)/, from the Greek ὠχρός, yellow) is a color, usually described as golden-yellow or light yellow brown. Wikipedia

Morning of the golden day.

But will come a tomorrow....When I have to pic them all up!

Hello Tyra! Thanks for visiting and saying hello :)
Golden indeed! Your pictures of the glorious morning are beautiful.
What a pretty greenhouse you have. How I'd love one!
That pedestal you found is a treasure...it adds such a nice touch.
I love the fence you have by the potager. It's very rustic.

The photo with the light glowing from within the greenhouse is especially pretty, emphasizing the wonderful lines of the greenhouse.
Enjoy the Autumn riches.

Hi Tyra, I love going inside your greenhouse, it is very joyful in there. Your berries are wonderful. I have grown the golden berries for the first time this year and am in love with them, so sweet and such a pretty color too. Your gold coins are a wealth of riches in every way.

Hey! Can I have some of those gold 'coins'? lol We have only dull brown here in my garden. Our oaks don't turn so pretty. You have a great blog. Sure do love that greenhouse. I even had to show my husband (who does not like blogs). I don't think he'll take a hint though. Glad your October is going well-Mother Nature is a real gift most of the time.

What a delightful post, and such indulging photos. Autumn really brings out the best of nature, but also the best of gardener's spirit. What a spectacular color show!

Your Greenhouse is beautiful, and its made even more beautiful by the antique windows. My first thought though was, do you ever get hail?

Your blog is just wonderful! I went to Stockholm 2 years ago and had a snow storm at the beginning of November. I visited the botanical garden there, covered with snow.I guess a greenhouse is necessary. Yours looks very nice. For the gold colour in French we say "ocre jaune". Have a good day!
