Garden Bloggers' Blooms Day

At last spring is here and we can all go out in the garden and enjoy all the lovely blooms. Suddenly our brownish grey 'winter gardens' turns to green and the flowers adds spashes of colour. Everything happens so fast now and you can almost see the grass grow. Now is the time to tidy up the Potager and prepare the beds for the coming growing season. I made a new 'fence' of some sticks and small branches for my peas to climb on, I love to work with the willow. Everything looks rather neat and tidy now and I'm ready to plant :-)....my poor body is aching though. Ahww

~ APRIL ~

It is also ABC Wednesday and this weeks letter is M. My M stands for MOON PLANTING and you can read more about this subject here where I store all my ABC's, in the Greenhouse

Looks like Mother Nature's gone crazy with her brushes and palettes in your garden! Great collages, Tyra!

Hi Tyra, I love the fences and teepees you have made with the twigs. You have inspired me to get out there and put something together for the sweet peas and other climbers that is attractive as well as functional. Thanks for that! :-) Your blooms and paths all look wonderful, so full of the promise of spring. Happy bloom day!

Hi Tyra, love your photos. I may follow your example and try some sticks to grow my peas on.

I like your pea sticks - very smart. I'm interested in planting with the moon but I suspect, from what I have read, that working full time would be slightly problematic.

You have some nice spring blooms. My favorite photos is the one of your pea fence. It is so pretty.

Beautiful collages Tyra. I love the teepee and fence and the stone walkway. I commiserate with your physical pain but it's a good kind of pain right? lol At least it's for a good cause!

Tyra, your collages are wonderful! I really like your pea supports, far more pretty than what I rigged up for my peas.

Beautiful collages today Tyra! I love the little orange flowers in the bottom right corner of your spring blooms. What is the name of that beauty? Happy Bloom Day! :)

Karen said...

Is that little orange guy at the bottom a lewisia? I always think to get one but forget when I'm at the nursery. Nice blooms! And I'd love to see more of that willow fence. I have some shoots but probably not enough to build anything, but I love willow structures. Happy Bloom Day!

"Moon planting" - typ biodynamiskt?
(Måste erkänna att jag har inte läst dina "bilagor" om vad du syftar med denna odling)

I love the pictures and can't wait to see how your peas like climbing up the willow sticks. Your blog is always so beautiful, and I particularly love the idea of following the moon.

Thank you all for your great comments!

Karen the flower in the corner is a Tulipa Greigii. You find more of those little darlings under tulips.
It is sweet isn't it.

Take care my friends and happy gardening!/ Tyra

// Peter

It's all happening at once! The willow obelisk looks lovely - I much prefer them to metal ones. Know what you mean about aching body, with all those muscles unused through the winter protesting at the sudden activity.

Vakker collage :)

I love when everything goes from brown to green ~ still waiting for that to happen here but at least there are a few blooms about to carry us over, right? Pretty spring blooms Tyra and your garden is looking ready to go.

Hi, Tyra! I love that fence. Wish I could have watched you make it. Any chance of a post with detailed photos?? Or too late? :) I know what you mean by All At Once. I can barely believe what is blossoming at the moment after some very hot weather this week. Our plants really do burst in the sun! Happy Gardening!
