Tyra's Garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö situated in the inner part of the archipelago near the small town Vaxholm, outside Stockholm. Tyra's Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, my potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination. The climate in these parts is quite demanding as the northerly winds can be strong and cold. THIS BLOG 'Tyra's Garden' is not entirely a gardenblog it contains much more. CHANGE

~~~
Time for me to change the header and to make a small change in the design.
Winter blue and Indian red?
poster from easy art
Winter apples or apple blossoms?
Decisions, decisions...which one to take...hm
Well you already know the answer.
A warm indian red for the border and an impressionistic photo of my appleblossoms.
What do you say, do you like it?
~~~

I like the apple blossoms. They remind me that spring will return to us.

Stunning, Tyra ... always love the look of your headers and blog. Hesitant about change, my basic blog remains the same (perhaps my New Year's resolution should be to 'not be such a wimp'!)

/Anja

I miss your greenhouse but this is lovely too... maybe your greenhouse is on your other blog. As for Obama and change... well that change has not come... I just signed a last minute urgent petition for climate change... Copenhagen will fail?? Is failing?? If we do not all act, our 'leaders' will never do the right thing. Your apple blossoms are uplifting in any case. Carol

A tough choice, but the apples look so cold - and the apple blossoms so encouraging.

They are both delightful Tyra :)
