My potager garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö, Resarö is situated in the inner part of the archipelago outside of Stockholm. Tyra´s Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination.
Tyra's Garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö situated in the inner part of the archipelago near the small town Vaxholm, outside Stockholm. Tyra's Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, my potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination. The climate in these parts is quite demanding as the northerly winds can be strong and cold. THIS BLOG 'Tyra's Garden' is not entirely a gardenblog it contains much more. Common Chicory

A blue little "sun" that just shines for five hours, after that it fades away and start to make seeds for next years Chicory lettuce. An amazng and beatiuful flower in my August potager.

Weigelia Florida is a shrub that has beautiful crimson flowers that hang like bells. They are known for their fast-growing flowers that develop into the summer until the first frost. This shrub is a beautiful plant is about any home or anywhere in the landscape, which can reach a height of 4-6 meters and span outward reach up to 5 meters. With a crimson red and lush green leaves is a great accent any time.
