Tyra's Garden is a small garden on the island of Resarö situated in the inner part of the archipelago near the small town Vaxholm, outside Stockholm. Tyra's Garden is mostly an ornamental vegetable garden, my potager. But flowers are of course an important ingredience, for beauty and pollination. The climate in these parts is quite demanding as the northerly winds can be strong and cold. THIS BLOG 'Tyra's Garden' is not entirely a gardenblog it contains much more. MISTY

I just want to show you this beautiful October morning.

I haven't got many garden ornament but here are a few, the sundail, the crown and my gazebo :-)

When I woke this morning it was still mists down on the meadow below my garden. I say ones again I really love my garden in the morning, I do not really know why but it is enough serenity and the fresh air. After breakfast I went for a walk in the garden with my camera. Spider’s web, drops of dew, the autumn colours, the rust on my iron crown and on the old sundial that’s the art of nature that catches my eye. One the other side of the meadow I can see down to the lake, it looks very calm and cold. The colours and structure of the water is soft and mild.

The Gazebo a very old 'jewel' in our garden

The greenhouse in the mist.

Have a nice week /LOL Tyra

The morning imparts a serene and soft look to your garden. Your garden ornaments are all very interesting esp the iron crown.

About your query on link exchange...you are already on my blog list.

Hi Tyra, what a beautiful garden you have, and is the morning mist, it turns to pure magic! I love your crown too! Morning is my favorite time in my own garden also, like you say, so peaceful and quiet, the leading edge of the day.

Just dropping by to thank you for visiting my site. Your photos are very nice and I look forward to seeing more. It is very nice of you to post in English, we Americans are notorious for only knowing one tongue and I know little Swedish.

What a lovely mornign you've captured for us, Tyra! This is one of the things about blogging I most love--the chance to experience gardening and gardens in places I'll otherwise not likely get to visit. Wonderful fun.

Your shots are lovely, and capture that special mood of serenity in the morning garden. The greenery, trees, mist and sculptures form a beautiful image.
